Airfield Shack
7th Sept 144 MHz Trophy Contest 0800z - 1400z short 6 hour
Start Time will be 8am BST sunday .
we will require a working party to replace the 2 mtr Antenna on the 23 rd of August 10am
12th Oct Second 50MHz Contest 09:00z - 12:00z
We are hoping to raise funds to replace the Shack do this we will need (£750) we already have £60, but in the mean time we will be using Malcolm's caravan which he will take up to the site on the contest days and all we have to do is connect up the cables and away we go. Thanks Malcolm and Janet.
At this point I would like to explain about the new shack, which would be at the bottom of the tower and would cost about £750. I know that is a lot of money but I believe that we can raise the funds in next few years. We will be renewing our planning at a cost £180 for the next 10 year's, so we need to use it and we need somewhere that is clean, looks neat and tidy and where members can use it during the week or maybe 144MHz UKAC 2006 during the evenings and is not in Marks' way (Chiltern Shot Blasting )
The Feeders would come straight down into the shack 3 x 23 Mtr Runs of Andrews Heliax

The Expanda-Kabin arrives flat packed, is man portable and can be erected in 45 minutes.
